Tucked against the foothills of the Rockies, Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms is a charming venue with multiple indoor and outdoor sites surrounded by incredible gardens. Set on 700 acres, the property is a nature preserve, historical homestead and working farm just outside of the city.
They have flexible spaces that can accommodate any small or large celebration. Catering options and packages can be organized by one of the caterers on their preferred list.
Open Air Chapel is a lovely outdoor ceremony site, nestled in a meadow with Deer Creek Canyon as the backdrop, and seating for up to 500.
Built in 1918 and part of a family farm, the (red) Green Farm Barn was renovated for private events in 2006. To the east of the barn is the iconic silo surrounded by the Native Garden. The large lawn outside the barn creates an ideal setting for outdoor seating or tenting.
Deer Creek Stables features a deck, rustic chandeliers, sliding barn doors, and canvas sides that can be raised or lowered creating an indoor/outdoor event space. It has covered seating for 220, with additional tenting permitted for more space out in the outdoor Amphitheater.
Other sites include a 1874 schoolhouse set in a prairie garden; and a terrace featuring a 1,600 square foot hardwood deck beneath cottonwood trees adorned with twinkle lights.
