Ultimate Tones provides both with their DJ services and their Ultimate Photo Booth! Let's meet them and find out more about putting the fun in your wedding.

Tell us a little about your business:

At Ultimate Tones, we work for our clients to help them customize the services they need for professional mobile DJ’s and the only Ultimate Photo booth in Colorado.  We offer options for ceremony systems for music and microphones, as well as event up-lighting for the touch of color for any occasion.  We believe that personalizing the experience for each client will deliver on unique needs and requests for every occasion.  We take pride in personally meeting with each of our clients to create that working relationship and capture all off the individual details. 

What inspired you to want to offer DJ and photobooth services?

DJ Jon has been in the DJ business for over 15 years.  He considers this his passion, craft, and loves to work with each of his clients to get to know their individual plans and ideas for their most special events. With each event, DJ Jon will provide his experience to help coordinate, emcee, and help maintain timelines.

Our Ultimate Photo Booth is the only one in Colorado.  We offer both an open-air photo booth concept or the enclosed booth concept with customized LED colors.  Our photo booth also features adjustable heights for guests of all sizes.  Clients will get to choose their template and choice of 2x6 or 4x6 options, which print immediately after each session in about 10-12 seconds.  Unlimited high-quality prints, use of our best in the business photo booth props, and a friendly photo booth attendant are part of every package.

How did you get your start in the special event industry?

DJ Jon started in the DJ business over 15 years ago helping with youth groups and parties.  He started working alongside other successful DJ’s to understand the flow events and how to keep crowds moving on the dance floor.  Over the years, the photo booth was something we always wanted to add, but didn’t want to have the same booth as everyone else. In 2017, the Ultimate Photo Booth was specially built for our company and the only one in Colorado.

How long have you been in business?

Ultimate Tones is rather new and was created in 2016.

How did you learn your craft?

As a DJ, Jon learned alongside other professional DJ’s that had over 25 years of experience in the business.  Jon trained at over 100 weddings before doing the first wedding event on his own.  We take pride in offering a quality service that includes every detail on music needs, so you and your guests stay moving throughout the event.

What’s your favorite part of the job?

DJ Jon loves to work with each client and each one has different ideas on how they would like their day to flow.  Jon says “seeing my clients enjoy their most special day and their guests on the dance floor is my favorite moment on any wedding day.”  Also, with our photo booth, we offer to help with a photo album or scrapbook.  At the end of the night, when you present that album/book to the bride & groom, and see the huge smile on their faces, that is an amazing moment and we know they will cherish those memories forever.

How would you describe your style?

Our style is to be completely customizable and flexible with every client.  We take pride in being informative and let our clients choose the look and feel for their event.  Our music will always be based on feedback that we gather from our clients and guests.

How would you describe your personality?

At Ultimate Tones, we are professional and respectful.  We take pride in our work, maintain constant communication and planning, and love to have fun while working by energizing your guests with music and an incredible photo booth.

What type of client is best suited for you?

We can help any client, but recognize that we are not the cheapest service or the most expensive either.  We love to work with people that want a fantastic service for their event.

What are your hobbies or non-work-related activities?

We are family based company and really enjoy spending time with our family.  

Have you ever worked with a celebrity?

Not directly in our business, but in other lines of work yes.

What trends do you love or would like to see be left behind?

We love to see, and trending currently, are bride and grooms choosing to end the night on a high note and fast music track!

Not trending so well is a wedding party dance. Bride and grooms want to get the party started right after the father/daughter & mother/son dances.

If you met with a bride and groom and literally had ONE minute to tell them why they should use your company, what would you say?

At Ultimate Tones, when you book with us, you’ll know who is working for you immediately.  With our background and experience, you’ll have the confidence in knowing that you and your guests will have an amazing event that keeps your guests moving!  Every detail is considered from beginning to end and we look forward to working with any client to help with their most special day!

Describe the most challenging event you’ve done?

There isn’t one day that comes to our mind.  We understand that each event will need that help and support, so we make sure to jump in and help where needed.

What sets you apart from other vendors in your category?

We use the best quality equipment for the best sound and photo booth results.  We believe our ability to create a solid working relationship with our clients helps set us apart so that our clients see our experience and the work that is put into their event to make it smooth flowing, fun, and memorable.

How far in advance should couples contact you to start their planning with you?

We recommend that couples call as soon as they have a date and venue set for their wedding.  We have couples that will reserve us a little more than a year in advance.

What tips or advice can you give couples planning their big day?

Remember that as a bride and groom, you are the star of your big day, and your guests will want to follow and travel with you around your reception.  Be a part of the fun activities that you choose and you’ll have an incredibly amazing day!
