Engaged Couples are Challenged to Embarrass Themselves, Attend or Donate in the #ThinkPinkChallenge

August 27, 2014  (Denver, CO) – Couples who are planning their 2015 and 2016 weddings in Colorado are hereby challenged to attend Think Pink on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in Denver, donate to The Wedding Pink or do something embarrassing and post it on social media if they can’t attend or donate.

The #ThinkPinkChallenge will help to spread the word about breast cancer awareness and  Think Pink,a totally unique, boutique bridal experience to benefit The Wedding Pink and inspire engaged couples getting married in Colorado.  The second annual event will be held at Denver's newest wedding venue, Blanc (3150 Walnut Street, Denver, CO) from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm. A VIP Wedding Professionals Industry Mixer will kick off the evening's showcase at 5:00 pm.

The event will help celebrate the first day of October, National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The Wedding Pink is an organization founded by Cheryl Ungar that provides an entire wedding for couples touched by breast cancer.

Colorado's brightest wedding talents, including musical ensembles and event producers from Party Singers and wedding planners from Cloud 9 Weddings, Revel & Bloom and Day Planner Events, will join forces to showcase the latest in wedding design and dècor concepts as guests progress through a mock wedding with totally unique ceremony, cocktail hour and reception inspirational and interactive experiences.

Couture bridal gowns from Little White Dress and Anna Bè and Mother of the Bride / Mother of the Groom dresses from Emma & Grace will be on silent auction with opening bids starting at $100.

Vogue-featured jewelry designer, Corinne Simon, will offer a custom piece as one of the many exciting raffle prizes valued at a minimum of $250.  Raffle items will go to lucky engaged couples in attendance.

Live musical performances will be provided by Denver’s Favorite Variety Band “Rockslide”, National-headlining pickers from "Rocky Mtn. Bluegrass", award-winning a cappella singing group "Absolute Romance" and Vintage Jazz Ensemble “After Hours Jazz”; all from Party Singers.

Delectable treats, savory eats and exquisite drinks and cocktails from Colorado's most in-demand wedding food and beverage companies will be offered in abundance to all attendees.

A grand Pink Carpet Photo Opportunity complete with a Think Pink “Step and Repeat” will greet attendees upon arrival.

Fine lingerie, engagement portrait sessions, wedding invitation giveaways and more thrilling raffle prizes valued at $250-350 went to nine lucky attendees in the raffle at Think Pink 2013, and four ecstatic brides-to-be won couture gowns from Little White Dress for $150-750 in the silent auction.

All wedding vendor services are donated to Think Pink and the proceeds benefit The Wedding Pink. The winning couple for The Wedding Pink 2015 will also be in attendance.

Think Pink is produced by Party Singers, a live entertainment company founded in 2007 in New York City and established in 2012 in Denver by Colorado native and company owner, Julia Tobey. The company’s main office is in Los Angeles.

Entry tickets are limited and on sale now. Each engaged couple’s $10 purchase will include three entry tickets, (complimentary +1) four raffle tickets and a swag bag. Entourages, Industry Professionals and Think Pink supporters are highly encouraged to attend.
