Destination: Blackstone Rivers Ranch

Are you considering a Colorado destination wedding? Destination weddings have grown tremendously in popularity over the past 10 years. And with its natural beauty, rustic charm and abundant amenities, Colorado has proven to be among the most sought-after spots for nuptials. Nebraskans Jared and Lindsey set their sights on a Rocky Mountain wedding and found their perfect destination venue at Blackstone Rivers Ranch. With its remarkable mix of rustic, refined, luxurious, natural and unique, this boutique site offered them a simply one-of-a-kind experience. Read on to find out what Blackstone Rivers Ranch says about Jared and Lindsey's most special day and scroll down to see some gorgeous photo inspiration:

Colorado is becoming more and more popular for destination weddings.

Each season we commonly have several weddings comprised of many out-of-town guests. The wedding we’re going to be talking about in this post is one of those weddings. The couple, Jared and Lindsey, traveled from Nebraska to celebrate their love in the Rocky Mountains.

They had one of the biggest weddings we have ever hosted at Blackstone Rivers Ranch. Their out of town guests made quite the appearance, numbering over 200. Our maximum capacity is 250 guests so they were right under that cap.

Jared and Lindsey had some fun activities for their traveling guests to participate in during their Colorado mountain wedding. They hired the Photo Bus to come up to the venue for their photo booth. Guests had a blast climbing in and out of a 1971 VW Bus (referred to as Huey by the company!) to capture the excitement of the night.

Jared and Lindsey also provided some super cute coloring pages for the guests. The coloring pages featured the couple in a sweet pose. They did refer to these coloring pages as a "kid activity" but we know one or two adults enjoyed coloring in their friends!

Thank you, Jared and Lindsey, for traveling to us to celebrate your love! We loved being a part of your big day.
